I then started to confine the face by drawing a thin line on hair on her right side. On her left side I added an ear and some very dark tones where the hair is in the shadow.

To get the feeling of floating hair, I just did some strokes with my 6B pencil, leaving out the parts where there will be some reflexions and darkening other parts.

By the way; the round thing is her earing, it's some kind of flat shell.
